2009年 11月20日 福州市空手道协会正式成立并举行开幕仪式,空手道这种由中国福州流传到冲绳的武术有望日后在福州再次发扬光大.作为福州市武术协会二十多年的老朋友,国际冲绳刚柔流空手道连盟(IOGKF)主席师范东恩纳盛男先生,除了首先发出贺电外,他还通令IOGKF所有支部发出贺电恭祝福州市空手道协会的成立.

Fuzhou city (China) is establishing the first official karate organization (Fuzhou Karatedo Association).
This was due to the joint effort of Higaonna Sensei and Fuzhou Wushu Association.
As I informed you earlier, Fuzhou city is planning to have Goju-ryu class into one of their sport schools.
It means a lot to all Goju-Ryu practitioners that we establish Goju-ryu back to the origin where Kanryo Higaonna Sensei learned 140 years ago.
There will be an opening ceremony for the association on November 20th in Fuzhou city. I was told that mayor of the city is also come to the ceremony.
Higaonna Sensei wants each country to send a congratulation letter to Fuzhou Karatedo Association before November 18th.

东恩纳盛男师范将会在 11/12/2009至16/12/2009 期间率领代表团到访福州市. 成员包括来自日本,加拿大及中国的IOGKF干部.目的如下:
- 恭祝福州市空手道协会成立
- 协助该会在福州市体校内建立冲绳刚柔流空手道培训班及排有关的细节(这亦是 东恩纳先生与福州市体育局陈光华副局长及李一端先生(前福州市武术协会秘书长,在本年三月份及八月份分别在福州及冲绳时双方商谈后所订定的协议.)
- 继续寻找东恩纳宽量的师傅 RYU RYU KO 的资料.
- 拜访有关的武术团体及白鹤拳的武馆.希望可以发现一些新资料.
希望福州市空手道的成立及在双方的合作下可以令到空手道这种回流的国术再次在福州发扬光大.
